Atoms For Peace – Default (Stream)

“Default” is the first single released from the alternative rock & electronic group Atoms For Peace, as they prepare for their forthcoming debut album, Amok. Formed in 2009, the group consists of Radiohead lead singer Thom Yorke and producer Nigel Godrich, Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea, Joey Waronker of Beck & R.E.M., and instrumentalist Mauro Refosco. Expect the debut album in February, 2013.

[Free EP] Chill Bump – The Loop

Chill Bump, a rap duo out of Tours, France released their fourth EP yesterday, titled The Loop. The EP follows three other free releases, including “Starting From Scratch,” “Back To The Grain,” and “Hidden Strings.” Producer Bankal and emcee Miscellaneous make up the duo, who will undoubtedly be releasing a debut LP in the near future as their fan base continues to grow. Ronald Jenkees – Early Morning May (Stream)

Electronic music composer (and YouTube celebrity) Ronald Jenkees released his third independent album on November 21, three years after his last album, Disorganized Fun. Jenkees began making music in 2003, and Days Away is another prime example of the wide variety of genres that can be found in his music. Using keyboards and various PC-controlled electronic synthesizers, Jenkees creates multi-tempo music ranging from techno to rock and roll. Listen to our favorites below.

Murs & 9th Wonder – Whatuptho (Stream)

Collaborating since 2004, emcee Murs and producer 9th Wonder have come together once again time for the release of their final album together, aptly titled The Final Adventure. Beginning with their critically acclaimed debut album, Murs 3:16: The 9th Edition, the duo have churned out an album every two years, including Murray’s Revenge in 2006, Sweet Lord in 2008, and 2010’s Fornever.
